Leonardo.ai & Airtable Integration via Make.com

Overview

The client needed a seamless integration between Leonardo.ai and Airtable, built through Make.com (formerly Integromat), to automate AI-driven creative workflows such as image generation, motion creation, and prompt enhancement — but wanted manual, trigger-based control rather than a fully automated pipeline.

The Solution

• Set up POST and GET API requests for Leonardo.ai image generation and motion creation, with custom Make.com webhooks triggered manually from Airtable.
• Configured Airtable's CONCATENATE() function to build dynamic API calls for each webhook based on user selection.
• Designed individual Make.com scenarios for each task — image generation, motion creation, and prompt improvement — so every endpoint could run independently, on demand.
• Debugged an error in a "Get File" module to ensure smooth, error-free retrieval of generated images, and guided the client on access-sharing and Make.com folder management for their shared workspace.

Results

The client can now generate AI images, test prompts, and create motion visuals directly from Airtable buttons, with every scenario running independently without overlapping processes. The reported "Get File" bug was resolved in a 30-minute live video consultation.
